Glen Furse was born in Toronto in 1954. Glen was inspired by both his mother and grandmother who were painters. His talent was already apparent in high school. His peers all knew and admired him as the creative artist, who loved, above all, to draw and paint. He pursued his studies in art at the Ontario College of Art and Design where he specialized in Experimental Art; painting, sculpture and installation. He was the typical “starving artist” using simple found objects to create art and express his ideas. Glen graduated from the college in 1977. He has taken a break from the artistic field to raise a family. We all hope to see more of Glens work in the future.
